Spring Maternity Sale, Peg Perago Stroller, Car Seats

Yesterday daddy and Mummy went to the Spring Maternity Sale.

And these were what we got for the day!

  • 2 sleepwears
  • 1 breastfeeding pillow
  • 1 sophie giraffe
  • 2 maternity tops
  • 1 tube bra
  • 1 dimple pillow (which the MTBs said not necessary but I had already got it)
  • 1 cot bedsheet
All the above at $202.00 after some 20% and some 30% off. Not bad a buy I thought then I realised I should stop buying clothes and really get some useful stuffs like milk bottles and towels and bedsheets and pampers... Anyway, there will be another baby fair coming up in Oct 5th to Oct 7th at Expo Hall 4B which I previously shared already. And then there's another one on 26th to 28th Oct at Expo Hall 5A. I think I will be buying more stuffs during the latter fair and not wait till last minute to buy as my back has been starting to ache pretty badly.

Baby, you are in the 20th week now and I'm already feeling my back and legs breaking. Really really very painful that I cried last night and made your daddy massage for me in the middle of his sleep. I really cannot imagine what's coming in the later weeks and months as others say it will only get worse... :'(

Anyway, back to the shopping, Was I glad that I went to the fair as I saw the new model of Peg Perago SI 2012!!!! If you remember I shared about the different brands of stroller HERE before!!

Super excited and happy. And actually it's not really very expensive if there's a sale!! So after discussing with daddy, most probably we wouldn't order from U.S anymore as there wouldn't be any warranty and since it will be rather cheap during a sale, might as well pay just that little more for the warranty. And also to save my trouble la...

WOOHOO!!!

That solves our stroller issue! So moving on to the next big thing. Your Car seat!! Asked what are the things that we should look out for when looking for a car seat. The lady said get one that you can use from infant to toddler. So we zoomed down to only these few models, at Spring Maternity. Some other specs to take into consideration maybe was the material, and the degree of reclination.

The car seats really ain't cheap.. But your safety is definitely the most important.. Have not decided which ones to get yet cos we were just browsing around and also paisey to ask too much..

That's all for today baby. Mummy has to endure for another 6days to see you in detail!! Your detail scan!! And do remember to be good, and be as active, and wave to mummy and daddy then! My back's breaking as I'm typing all these I swear it's killing me!!!! Argh!!! Night Baby!!!

Back's Breaking,
Mummy Jo

The Gargamelle Story

Sorry baby!! Mummy has been pretty tied up the past few days with buying things and meeting up with friends and hadn't had time to tell you the Gargamelle story when we were finding a name for you. It's just a short joke between me and daddy so hope it'll make you laugh too.

Remember Mummy said Casper was in your name list too? When I told daddy this, he said, huh? Casper is ghost leh.. Then we laughed. And he carried on to say, why not name Gargamelle then? The bad character in Smurf. So both of us laughed and he carried on with, next time when the teacher takes attendance in class, "Gargamelle!". The rest of the students will go "Deh deh deh deh deh deh..." (sings to the smurf tune)..

Your daddy sooooo lame!!!!

The end..

Baby Names!!!!

Time to think of your name baby!!!

Wrote down quite a list of boy names and have also strike out quite a few after discussing with daddy, grandma, friends and even your cousin Thaddeaus!

The initial names which Mummy came out with were all striked off.

Carlson - When this name was mentioned, mummy's friends laughed. Sounds like Kar-cheng and worse is it comes with Tan. Kar cheng Tan.
Haden - This name went into the shortlisted list for a moment, but was later striked off again cos Daddy and Mummy thought Haden would be rather common in future.
Randall - Mummy quite for this name but daddy didn't like so out it goes.
Raynor / Reagan - Out.
Walden - Everyone said this name sounds like warden, like a prison warden you know? So it's out too. Even though mum thought it was a strong name for you.
Casper - Sounds cute right? Ok, abit too cute. And daddy says, Casper is the ghost leh!! LOL...

So all names were out for the initial stage except for Haden initially. Then Mummy goes sourcing around for more names.

Kenan - It's pronounced as Kee Nen, not Ker Nan or Ker nen. We thought this name goes well with Tan. And your cousin Thaddeaus likes this name too. Ok, Kenan Tan, in the list you go!! Meaning of Kenan - to take possession. (Acquire)
Kenaz - Pronounced as Kee Nurse. Goes well with Tan too right? Kee Nurse, Kee Nurse, Kee Nurse... But your ah gu say sounds like Anus.. Oops.. Sorry for introducing this crude word to you.. Really sounds like Anus meh??? I thought it was rather special... :( And I liked the meaning of the name too - Bright.
Lucius - Most were for this name. Most from MTBs forum, grandma, ah gu! We are ok with this name too. Meaning -  Light.
Ragnar - Papa says out.
Raiden - Mummy like!! But papa says out too.. Your papa every name also out out out.. He so clever ask him name la!! Angry...

Found new variations for Kenan. Kynen ? When I was having a headache between this 2 variations, your dad came and say Kenan la... Kynen looks like girl's name. Ok, solved my headache!

Kenan & Lucius... These 2 names has been running through my mind almost the whole day but I have yet to come to a consensus... I cannot decide when there are 2 choices!!!!! And both seems good....

I'm really sleepy now cos I've been seeing baby names the whole evening till now... Enough of baby names for the moment.. Will come back to add if there are new ones but now, we're pretty satisfied with Kenan... & Lucius... :)

Good night baby!! Mummy's going to sleep.... Will tell you about the Gargamelle story tomorrow baby...

Baby baby....

Baby, ever since that day mummy poke you, you have been hiding deep inside. And paranoid mummy's getting paranoid again!! Everyday complaining to daddy say cannot feel you, and you are not kicking as much. I already said sorry ok... Please don't hide and come out kick me again! LOL...

It seems like my tummy has become smaller these 2 days. And I finally understand it's because initially, mummy's tummy was bloated with gas and not you. These 2 days doesn't feel as bloated therefore tummy became smaller!! Complained to the other MTBs in WA, and they say doesn't matter about the size of tummy. Got one mummy say hers was very small but her baby came out 3.88kg!!! 3.88kg is VERY BIG leh!! Then I felt instantly better. :p I want chubby chubby baby...

Had a great workout on last Saturday. Mummy's taking up pre-natal yoga class cos mummy don't exercise and am worried it'll be difficult for me to give birth. Personally feel it's pretty good. I could feel the strains the next day even though it was just stretching exercise!! That's how weak my muscles are!! And this is where I take up my prenatal yoga class!

Stretch Mark Creams

Just a post to share about the stretch mark creams that I'm currently using and where to get them. Now that tummy is getting bigger and bigger, this is definitely a must to put on to avoid having stretch marks later on after giving birth. I'm sure you wouldn't want your tummy to look like this. Eeeks.....

I chose a picture that didn't look really bad.... Yes, there are worse cases. So please apply your stretch mark creams SPARINGLY!!

I'm currently using the brand Clarins. Clarins Huile Tonic Body Treatment Oil (in the morning) and Stretch Mark Control Cream (in the night).

I bought 2 bottles each time since I will be using it everyday and SPARINGLY, and so they get run out pretty quickly. I started using Clarins Huile Tonic Oil since about 8 weeks, surface area wasn't that big then, and I finished a bottle in about 18weeks. Just started using the Stretch mark cream. Personally, I feel that the oil was good to make my skin feel moisturised and the oil gets absorbed pretty quickly so you don't get the greasy feeling after applying. I am glad I started early cos sometimes I do feel the itch around my tummy area when I'm bloated or after a full meal now. Remember, DO NOT SCRATCH if you do not want those stretch marks!

And to share this GOOD LOBANG, you may not want to get them from Clarins counter if you are not into the freebies. Get them from TAB (Tins and Bottles) at Nexx Mall. For the tonic oil, it's $78 from counters and $58.50 from TAB. SAVINGS OF $19.50 per bottle! WOW!! For the stretch mark cream, it's $82 from counters and $61.50 from TAB. SAVINGS OF $10.50 per bottle! WOW!!  If you purchase above $100, there's additional 5% off! If purchase 2 bottles of each kind, total savings will be $60, can be used to buy baby's stuffs! :)

That's all for the stretch mark creams!!

I-Love-Lobang,
Mummy Jo.

Clothes, Clothes & More Clothes!!

Hello Baby!! Your clothes from Carters arrived!!! Swee swee, the quality are definitely better than the ones from Gmarket. Your grandma also says so.. Mummy doesn't want to take out the packagings yet for fear of attracting dust from now till few months later, even though they will still be taken out to wash before you can wear them. (Ok, partially lazy to take out one by one and lay nicely and take picture. :p ) These are your 1st batch of new clothes!!! Total about $160 (after shipping) for all these! Good buy?

Then mummy realised those clothes with wordings all came with Daddy. Hey, I paid for it why never buy any Mummy's Prince or Mummy's Baby?? Only got Daddy's big guy, daddy's tough guy so on.. Stupid mummy. **Jealous**

Besides all these new clothes, Paulene Yi Yi got you some too!! Polo Ralph one ok...
Nice right!!

Yi Yi said these were sale items cos they are rejects from the factory, but definitely authentic. She said I'll go crazy too if I was there. And she herself got 11 jumpsuits for her boy too! (Oh, did I mention mummy's 好姐妹 is pregnant too and her EDD is the same month as yours? So exciting!!! ) So I asked her to get me MORE!!! So cheap, 不买白不买 right!!! :D Mixture of Gap, Polo Ralph and OshKosh B'gosh! Cheap and good = mummy like...

And so she got more for you!! Ta Dah!!!

All these for about SGD$100!!! Cheap si le right!!

I think mummy has bought enough clothes for the moment. You will definitely outgrow them really quickly and not mentioning you still have passed down clothes. There's a saying that babies must wear passed down clothes 才会长得快!

Enough-of-clothes,
Mummy Jo

Breastpumps

Have been reading up and discussing the different types of breastpumps with all the online mummies. Medela seems to be a very popular brand among mothers. Another brand which I heard that's good is Ameda. Since I have already decided to get the Medela, I shall just write about this brand cos I've not research on the others too. :) (Lazy to research more and since everyone's saying Medela's good, it can't be too wrong isn't it? ) By the way, I think Medela is one of the more expensive brands among other breastpumps.

There are a few types of Medela breastpumps. Single or dual pumps and I'm going for the dual pumps cos lazy to do it one side followed by other side. Just get it over and done with please!!

Website for full information: http://www.medela.us/

Medela Freestyle

Generally, this pump lets you go hands-free. So if you are a cannot-sit-down kind of mum, it would be good if you go for this. Pump while you do other things at the same time. According to owner from My Beauty Loft, she said Freestyle has a gentler suction, is more compact and lighter than the other one which I'm going to explain in a while. Freestyle also comes with a higher price tag. Which I'll come into it later.

Pump In Style Advanced (Generally known as PISA)

There are a few types of PISA: PISA Backpack, PISA On-the-go Tote & PISA Metro. If you ask me what's the difference betweent these 3, I'd say different types of bag lor... LOL. You know what's a backpack right? And you know what's a tote too? Metro is something like a tote bag but I think it's bigger. This is for simple understanding. But I think there's more to it definitely. Ok, metro is abit different in that
The Metro Bag features a removable pump in a separate bag for pumping and trasnsport flexibility. I would either be getting the Metro or tote. Cos backpack very ugly!! :p

If you click on the pictures and read, the difference is PISA Metro features removable pump in a separate bag. All others remain the same.

Where to get them
  1. Amazon - Buy direct from amazon and ship over using CGW / uclick2buy. You may refer to my previous blogpost on the shipping rates. It was advised by my forum friends to purchase during November. During Black Fri or something like that, that US will have sale going on. So I must remember to set my alarm to purchase it in November!
  2. In case I fail to get it in November from Amazon, I can get also get from My Beauty Loft from the forum mummysg.
Pricing Comparison (between My Beauty Loft & megababystore)

                              MY BEAUTY LOFT                    MEGABABYSTORE                   MEGABABYSTORE (w guarantee)

PISA Backpack:               $395                                                $425                                                    $525
PISA On-the-go                $395                                                $425                                                    $525
PISA Metro                      $425                                                $480                                                    $580
PISA Freestyle                 $460                                                $550                                                    $650

I should be getting the Medela Metro and either getting from My Beauty Loft or Amazon since Megababystore seems the more expensive option here. :)

Am also providing this link for all other mummies who are interested to test out the breastpumps or know more about breastfeeding or about other breastpumps. - Breastfeeding Mothers Support Group

In addition to breastfeeding, Paulene Yi Yi recommended mummy this nipple cream, said to be one of the best in the market to prevent cracks and is baby-safe too. I wonder if the pricing is also one of the best? LOL. Anyway, can be found at Tangs or Paragon. Will check it out when I pass by these places.

ENJOY YOUR PREGNANCY AND DON'T WORRY!! :)

Not much updates or happenings for the past week cos I was really a tad down with, I suppose minor depression. It had to be depression cos only negative thoughts went through my mind, and I could cry on and on, unable to stop myself and throwing tantrums for no big reason. Anyway, I have finally managed to keep it under control, and everytime I feel down, I will keep telling myself to look on the positive side. Ever seen a phrase that says, people usually are unhappy because there are too many comparisons around. I have learnt not to compare, and I should count my blessings, that I'm born in a rather ok-to-do family and much better than many others and the rest I'll just leave it to fate. Whatever may be may be... No point thinking so much. My eldest SIL did a fair part in consoling me too, saying life initially was difficult when he married my brother, but has since turned for the better. So asked me not to worry so much and just enjoy the pregnancy. I think I'm just a too worrying mummy so I'M GOING TO JUST ENJOY MY PREGNANCY!!! :)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Met up with all the Mother-to-be's (Feb'13) today and had a good time! Will be uploading the photo of all the pretty mummies if they are ok with me uploading it once I have it. (Didn't use my own iphone to capture).
Here's the picture of all the pretty mummies!!
Also went Mothercare at Harbourfront with Eldest bro and SIL to check out the sale but end up got cheated cos the sale was like no sale. :( Anyway, managed to get some baby socks and 3 bibs. Will be getting the mittens from gmarket since they seemed nicer and cheaper too. As for the rest, I'm ready to get them during the baby expo in Oct and have already seek approval from daddy!!
Lesser words, more pictures!!
This was one of the items going on sale. 3 bibs for $11.00 Designs so-so but just got it cos it's on SALE. (@.@)'''
No sale for the socks but I had to get it anyway. Prices as shown.
Nope, didn't get this but it's for future reference. 3 piece of bath towel for $47.
Da Sao was saying this stroller is nice, and expensive too. But after trying it, maneuvering it around, we found that it was OVER-PRICED and OVER-RATED. So we decided on a Peg Perago still after trying out a few.
Peg Perago Switch Stroller - $1,088/- : Too heavy so it's OUT. Not much choices at mothercare for peg perago. Some other pictures I got from the web to compare. Am actually very much liking Da Sao's Peg Perago's SI. Reason being it is light and stable and folds in an upright position. Only won't be able to turn the handle around to see baby when you push the stroller. All else was good when doing comparisons. Below is a picture of the SI Model.
SI WEIGHS 7.2KG (taken off from their official website)
Peg Perago SI Amazon's price SGD270. Singapore's selling for about SGD699. And while stealing pictures off the net, I saw there's a new model of Peg Perago SI!!!!! *Screech with excitement!!!*
Peg Perago SI 2012 !!! I like!!!! SGD365!! Affordable affordable!! Not sure if Singapore is already carrying the 2012 model but I'm almost determined to get this!! Based on the calculations on the shipping cost post, 7.2kg would cost probably less than SGD100!!
Anyway, just some other models in case some other mummies want some other references. Am only comparing Peg Perago's since Maclaren and combi is definitely out of the list. Maclaren is out for me because it folds on the floor and not upright, difficult to handle if I'm alone with baby. Combi is lightweight but NOT STABLE, so out out out!
Peg Perago Pliko P3- SGD305. This is quite a good stroller too if you are more mascular than me and can handle the weight of the stroller. This weighs 8.5kg. The weight is abit too much for me so I'm still going for SI.
Peg Perago Pliko Four. This looks really nice too! Don't think it's selling in Singapore though. Comparing the wheels with the pliko P3, i thought this was a better version and it would be more lightweight. But I was wrong. It's almost the same weight as Pliko P3, 9kg. So I can forget about this too.
And since I like the SI sooooo much, added a video for my own pleasure. :)
That's all for today's long day and I'm going to spend some ME time!!
Good night baby!!
Mummy Jo.
Mummy's Tummy at Week 18!!
Woohoo!!! Week 18 ALREADY!!!! 2 more weeks and we're gonna hit the halfway mark!! Tummy's finally getting bigger bit by bit everyday, and mummy can feel more of baby's kicks recently!! U.S Shipping Fees
Hi All!! Remember I said I will update the shipping fees when my loots reached the U.S address? They have already reached on Thursday (13.09.2012) and Comgateway (CGW) has already sent me the invoice.
My loots weigh 1.5kg, total value of $115.20. Total shipping cost USD$19.48 (free upgrade to express shipping, and after fuel surcharge and insurance). And CGW gave me total $15 credit. And there is an additional $0.84 off (I also don't know why). So total I only topped up USD3.64. (SGD4.45 for1.5kg loots).
Here are the shipping calculations:
If I never remember wrongly, CGW's 1st 500g shipping cost USD11, sub 500g cost USD2.85.
Converting them to SGD, CGW's 1st 500g shipping cost SGD13.45, sub 500g cost SGD3.48.
There will be fuel surcharges and also insurance cost.
Fuel surcharge is 11.50% of international shipping. So this time round was USD16.70 x 11.5% = USD1.92 (SGD2.35)
Comparing with uclick2buy , 1st 500g shipping cost SGD13.00 (cheaper by SGD0.45), sub 500g cost SGD3.75 (more ex by SGD0.27)
Fuel surcharge is SGD0.50 for every 0.5kg.
After comparing, I suppose uclick2buy is a little cheaper?? Just abit but uclick2buy has promotions for POSB/DBS cardholders. (15% off). Maybe the next time round I will try to use uclick2buy!
I'm happy the loots are finally on it's way to Singapore!!! Can't wait to see baby's clothes and pack them nicely into my already-packed-nicely cupboard. Then I can see what others are required, if there are enough space in the cupboard for baby's stuffs and do further plannings from there! Hope the quality's really good and I'm sure I will be delighted to see the cute cute mini mini bodysuits!! Will take pictures of actual clothings to share!!
Week 17!!
Sometimes, I think time really flies. Unknowingly, I am already in week 17th of my pregnancy. Weeks into 2nd trimester already!! Mixed feelings of excitement and also stress. Daddy and mummy can't wait to see who do you resemble more but on the other hand, mummy's stressed about the future's that's coming. The house, your school, your pampers and milk powders and all necessities are going to cost a strain on our pockets definitely. Yes, I know this post was supposed to have come few days ago, but I seriously didn't have much energy or mood to type the post. Anyway, mummy's managed to control my temperament a little better, (just keep telling myself I want a healthy you) therefore I'm here! Go away those bad hormones that's affecting me!! ROAR!!!!!!
Ok, so this is how my tummy looks like at week 17. I still feel there's not much difference from week 16 yet. But it may be because we are comparing it week by week we are not able to see the difference? So I've decided to do a weekly comparison and also a monthly one. For the monthly one, shall start with week 16 and week 20. Then, maybe we should be able to see the difference already.
Here you go:
Side by side comparison
Really not much difference right!! But not worrying, I know I've been eating right for baby you. Please be good and take in all kinds of good nutrients ya!!
Baby be good. Mummy's going to rest now...
New Clothes For Baby!!!
Remember my previous post I mentioned I will be going to a online store owner's house to check out the 5 pc pack bodysuits? I went. Call me lucky that they had no stock. Lol. Wonder why? Wouldn't it be a wasted trip? No, cos the clothes quality did not meet my expectations and so I didn't buy!! Ok, probably they can be bought, but just for wearing at home. And I really admire those PRC (yes, the store owner is a PRC) for being able to talk through their nose and insist that the quality is SUPERB even though it is not. Really duh........
Ok, so I said if I did not buy from her, I would order from the U.S website. I ordered from carter cos they had 50% off!! 50% IS alot ok... Excited about your new clothes?? Show you the pictures!
After asking around for the necessary that I have to buy, I have came down to the following combinations:-
Newborn: 5 Short sleeves bodysuits, 4 Long sleeves bodysuits and 2 pants. (1 LS BS and pants is for you to wear from hospital to home).
3 months: 6 Short sleeves bodysuits, 1 long sleeves bodysuits, 1 Long sleeve top, 1 pants and 1 hat
6 months: 2 Short sleeves bodysuits, 3 Long sleeves bodysuits and 2 pants.
Total cost: USD 121.80 not including the shipping from comgateway to Singapore. (Will update again once I got the amount)
Hope the quality's good and they are comfortable and value for money!! Especially love the monkeys designs.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Baby, how are you this few days after we met? Mummy realised you have been abit more active as I have been feeling your kicks (feels like flutter or bubbles or popcorn popping) more often than usual. Great, now I won't have anything to complain to daddy. (Cos I always do when you are too quiet). :) I hope you are happy and please maintain such kind of moods or emotions and don't be affected by mummy's occasional spouts of depression. Mummy hasn't been feeling over the moon this 2 days and just can't control the negative thoughts that has been irritably running through my mind. What would you say of a pregnant woman who keeps crying, before sleep, wakes from sleep and doesn't feel like doing anything but lie on the bed and be alone? I'm just too stressed. Perhaps it's normal? For a parent to think about the child's future? And we have to control just thinking about the future's gonna's be great and stop those devilish negative thoughts running around? Mummy has been repeatedly telling myself to be strong and stay happy. I know I will be able to do it and this depressing mood is just temporary. Baby please don't be affected by me and please let mummy be strong too. Please continue to bless your dad for more closings. More closings = more money = more things for you = less stress for mummy. :)

(After I finish typing the above paragraph, your very sweet daddy suddenly came and talk to mummy. You know your dad SUCKS at pacifying me, and sometimes that is what makes me even angrier cos I cannot be angry cos I know he is like this. And it makes it worse. But suddenly, he became so sweet and ask me not to be stress. And say he's going to work really hard and is going to close lots of deals. We began to talk and communicate before we turn in bed just like when we first got to know each other. You know, for a woman, what's most important is your husband is there and very supportive. I know daddy doesn't know how to sweet talk, but I know he is trying his best to make me live in happiness and bliss and that is really sufficient. I immediately felt a LITTLE bit better. (You don't get VERY MUCH better just after a talk ok... ) Anyway, I know I'm going to be strong and fine, for you and our home. )

Sign off from here, will post pictures of my tum tum tomorrow to see if you have grown.

Love You & Daddy very much,

IT'S A BOY!!!!

After a super long 4 weeks wait!! Mummy and daddy have finally seen you again!! Before we go on,

Confirmed, we saw that big balls of yours. Lol!! Daddy is happiest cos no stress after this. Doesn't matter it's a boy or girl after you anymore!

You are really a cute and clever baby. Everytime mummy's doing the scan, you will be moving around as though you are as happy to see us too, waving your hands and moving your legs around. Awwww!! Too cute!!! Probably talking to you before the scan and asking you to open your legs big big did help! :D

Some pictures of your scans today -

And close-up!! Can see that high nose bridge? Grandma says your head's very round and "kok", look more like mummy!! 暗爽!
Now that we've know your gender, it's time for shopping!!! I must control not to buy too much!! Cos your cousin thaddeaus has alot to pass on to you. This blog post was supposed to have been up in this noon, but I was too engrossed in shopping online for the uber cute bodysuits. After shopping for one whole day looking around, mummy hasn't decided on which ones to get. Will be going down to one seller's house tomorrow to check out the 5-pc pack bodysuits and also to see the quality. If the quality is good enough, mummy will skip buying from the U.S websites. If the quality ain't up to my standard, I'll probably get a couple and ship from the U.S. Many things to do and shop!!!
Some U.S Websites shared by the Feb's Mother-to-Be's:
1) http://www.carters.com/ - quite a popular and common brand. They sell 5pcs packs and having 50% off now!! Will decide to buy or not after I check out the seller's store tomorrow. Doesn't ship to Singapore thus will definitely have to go through VPost for this website.
2) http://www.gymboree.com/index - the clothes are nice!! And quality looks good! But quality and pretty always comes with a "nicer" price tag too right? Shipping internationally cost USD32 for below USD125 purchases. Probably shipping to VPost will be cheaper then.
3) http://www.ralphlauren.com/ - See the name already know it's very expensive. Branded!! Would be an out option for now cos you know you will outgrow your clothes really quickly and you already have whole lots of clothes for you. Mummy shall save the money for some other more useful items!!
4) Not to forget we have www.amazon.com to shop around too. If carter's main website's not having that 50% sale, amazon seems like a better choice. Got to go through VPost for this too. Will be checking out Amazon for the bigger items like your stroller and pram too. I've heard that we can save hundreds for them! Which means we have a few hundreds more, to buy a better one!
5) Lastly, for most convenience, there is always www.qoo10.sg (used to be known as Gmarket). But the quality might not be really good so will have to buy just 1 to try out first.

Any mummies who see this post and has any more good websites to recommend, please feel free to leave me a comment! Greatly appreciated!! :)

See? When mummy talk about shopping, the post can go non-stop. Enough of shopping. Haven't buy any for you but you already have 2 in your cupboard!! Courtesy from Ah Lian Yi Yi, next time remember to say thanks to her ya? Show you the really cute pictures!

Kawaii neh!!!

The dinosaurs are so adorable isn't it!!! Mummy loves clothes with dino, monkeys and giraffes!! Wonder if baby has any preference?

And starting from this day onwards, mummy has to start eating the multi-vitamins. Look how big they are and I just hate taking medicines!!! Wonder how I'm going to swallow them... And it's gonna be for the next 6 months, every single day! Baby, please be good, you see how mummy is sacrificing for you?
The one in the box is fish oil, for your brains, the pink ones are multi-vitamins, the white ones (bottom left) are calcium tablets. The one on the bottom right is not for you, but for mummy. Due to hormonal changes, mummy's nose has been very stucked every night and sometimes find it so difficult to fall asleep. Doctor prescribed that for better sleep. Mummy won't take that unless it's really necessary.

Today, your daddy also accompanied mummy to get some new bras. Went to spring maternity to get them, and even though they REALLY didn't feel that comfortable, I had no choice but to get it. I could never guess that my bra size would go from 32B to a 36C!!! LOL!!! Took some pictures but nah.. better don't post them, cos they are TOOOO UGLY!!! After speaking to Er Sao after I bought them, then realised they are pretty bad buys. No choice, i had to get them cos the old bras are already cutting into my skin and feel too uncomfortable. Some suggestions were to get from Marks & Spencer, not too ex and they come in packs of 3, or Nummies from Maternity Exchange. I think she had really good praises for Nummies. For the moment, not buying anymore until at least 3rd trimester? Afterall, all these things really don't come cheap. And I have to buy maternity wear too.. Sigh... MONEY MONEY MONEY...

So, baby, there are so many shopping to be done!! Please "bo pi" (bless in hokkien) your 老爸 close many many deals, earn more money cos life's getting pretty stressed up with the house coming and you coming too!!

I think that's about all for today... Mummy's been staring at the PC since afternoon 2pm till now. Oh, Aunty Tina (our housemaid) and mummy cleared more spaces in the cupboard today again to make space for your stuffs. Trying to clear AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE so that we won't have to buy a new cabinet too.

It will be another long wait before we can see you again. Next appointment:-  4th October at 2.55pm, and having your detail scan, which means we can see you for a longer time!! Also known as Anomaly Scan (click on link to know more). Till then, please be good in mummy's safe tummy, continue to be an active baby, and do take in all the nutrients from the foods that mummy's eating ya?

With lots and lots of love,
Mummy Jo.
