ENJOY YOUR PREGNANCY AND DON'T WORRY!! :)

Not much updates or happenings for the past week cos I was really a tad down with, I suppose minor depression. It had to be depression cos only negative thoughts went through my mind, and I could cry on and on, unable to stop myself and throwing tantrums for no big reason. Anyway, I have finally managed to keep it under control, and everytime I feel down, I will keep telling myself to look on the positive side. Ever seen a phrase that says, people usually are unhappy because there are too many comparisons around. I have learnt not to compare, and I should count my blessings, that I'm born in a rather ok-to-do family and much better than many others and the rest I'll just leave it to fate. Whatever may be may be... No point thinking so much. My eldest SIL did a fair part in consoling me too, saying life initially was difficult when he married my brother, but has since turned for the better. So asked me not to worry so much and just enjoy the pregnancy. I think I'm just a too worrying mummy so I'M GOING TO JUST ENJOY MY PREGNANCY!!! :)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Met up with all the Mother-to-be's (Feb'13) today and had a good time! Will be uploading the photo of all the pretty mummies if they are ok with me uploading it once I have it. (Didn't use my own iphone to capture).
Here's the picture of all the pretty mummies!!
Also went Mothercare at Harbourfront with Eldest bro and SIL to check out the sale but end up got cheated cos the sale was like no sale. :( Anyway, managed to get some baby socks and 3 bibs. Will be getting the mittens from gmarket since they seemed nicer and cheaper too. As for the rest, I'm ready to get them during the baby expo in Oct and have already seek approval from daddy!!
Lesser words, more pictures!!
This was one of the items going on sale. 3 bibs for $11.00 Designs so-so but just got it cos it's on SALE. (@.@)'''
No sale for the socks but I had to get it anyway. Prices as shown.
Nope, didn't get this but it's for future reference. 3 piece of bath towel for $47.
Da Sao was saying this stroller is nice, and expensive too. But after trying it, maneuvering it around, we found that it was OVER-PRICED and OVER-RATED. So we decided on a Peg Perago still after trying out a few.
Peg Perago Switch Stroller - $1,088/- : Too heavy so it's OUT. Not much choices at mothercare for peg perago. Some other pictures I got from the web to compare. Am actually very much liking Da Sao's Peg Perago's SI. Reason being it is light and stable and folds in an upright position. Only won't be able to turn the handle around to see baby when you push the stroller. All else was good when doing comparisons. Below is a picture of the SI Model.
SI WEIGHS 7.2KG (taken off from their official website)
Peg Perago SI Amazon's price SGD270. Singapore's selling for about SGD699. And while stealing pictures off the net, I saw there's a new model of Peg Perago SI!!!!! *Screech with excitement!!!*
Peg Perago SI 2012 !!! I like!!!! SGD365!! Affordable affordable!! Not sure if Singapore is already carrying the 2012 model but I'm almost determined to get this!! Based on the calculations on the shipping cost post, 7.2kg would cost probably less than SGD100!!
Anyway, just some other models in case some other mummies want some other references. Am only comparing Peg Perago's since Maclaren and combi is definitely out of the list. Maclaren is out for me because it folds on the floor and not upright, difficult to handle if I'm alone with baby. Combi is lightweight but NOT STABLE, so out out out!
Peg Perago Pliko P3- SGD305. This is quite a good stroller too if you are more mascular than me and can handle the weight of the stroller. This weighs 8.5kg. The weight is abit too much for me so I'm still going for SI.
Peg Perago Pliko Four. This looks really nice too! Don't think it's selling in Singapore though. Comparing the wheels with the pliko P3, i thought this was a better version and it would be more lightweight. But I was wrong. It's almost the same weight as Pliko P3, 9kg. So I can forget about this too.
And since I like the SI sooooo much, added a video for my own pleasure. :)
That's all for today's long day and I'm going to spend some ME time!!
Good night baby!!
Mummy Jo.
