Week 16!!

Hello baby!!! You are at week 16 this week!! You will be experiencing a surge in your growth and mummy can't wait to see my tummy getting bigger and bigger!!

Here's pictures of mummy's tummy over this week. You see if it has grown in size?

Front View

I know it's pretty difficult to remember how big my tummy was at 15 weeks. So I did a side by side photo for easy comparison!!

Got difference??? Looks the same hor... Nevermind, we'll see how you grow at week 17 since it's stated that you will surge in growth from this week onwards.

And some updates for this week about what mummy has been up to!

Bought you a storybook. No, of course not for you to read. It's for daddy and mummy to read to you at night before we sleep. Bedtime stories!!
And this book is not cheap ok... Cost me about $25.

And we have confirmed your infant care school!!! Guess which one? We are pretty sure you will like it too after you have made comparisons of the 3 we went to around our area.

The first one we went to was Little Footprints at Serangoon North Ave 4. This was one of the worst ones that I'll want to put you there. The place was small (as compared to the other 2), and it wasn't clean, and it had a smell, and some of the children were dirty wearing their stained clothes on a day of the early week, a Tuesday. OUT OUT OUT!! Oh, and the price is not one of the cheaper one too!!! Monthly school fees for this school: $1,350/-

The 2nd one we went to was PCF Sparkletots at Paya Lebar. It is situated at block 221, hougang st 21, which is real near to our house too, just opposite the NTUC at Kovan, one straight road out from house, walk abit more and reached. This one was pretty good and I ever considered here. The place was clean, the senior teacher who spoke to me was eloquent and looked like a nice nice teacher, the area was big and the sleeping area was pretty!!! Aiya, mummy forgot to take pictures!!!  Downside of this place was, or rather, not the downsides, but what I didn't really like was, the teachers looking after the babies were old aunties. Ok, old aunties may be more experienced in looking after babies, but what I feel is they may not be as eloquent or interactive as young ones. Afterall, putting you in an infant care was for you to learn faster and develop better. Still can be put on consideration list though, so we went on and see the 3rd one. And daddy was pretty pleased with this school too. Moving on...
Monthly school fees for this school: $1,177/- (the cheapest)

The 3rd one we went was Agape Little Uni @ Upper Serangoon. It's located at Yio Chu Kang road, next to SPC, also very near to home and the one your cousin Thaddeaus is currently attending. Seeing that Thaddeaus is so well spoken and so smart, naturally mummy was a little for this school. But we had to see what daddy feels too right? I've seen Agape before and know that they are really clean, air-conditioned on both levels and the teachers were the younger ones that mummy liked too. Now's how daddy feels. I think the first impression Agape gave your dad was GOOD. Told you Agape is clean lo... And the environment was good too. We saw the upper level (for infant) and the lower level (playgroup). You will be advancing to the playgroup anyway so we had to check it out too. And both gave us very good impressions. The place was really big and airy and all air-conditioned. The teachers looked fine and knowledgeable, everything was good la.. I was surprised your daddy was the one who asked the teacher how to confirm if we are interested. Which means, your daddy likes this place too!! And so... we paid the deposit of $1,500/- and you are registered!! Happy? We are!
Monthly school fees for this school: $1,500/- (so expensive...)

All prices stated are before government subsidy. Mummy's a working mum so we get a subsidy of $600 off a month. :) Else how to afford!!!

It has been sooooooooooooooooooooooo long since mummy and daddy seen you.. How are you growing inside baby? Are you a boy boy or girl girl? Mummy can't wait to buy things already!!! 3 weeks really seems like 3 months and I've mentioned this before. Now it's 4 weekly then can see you once. :( Next appointment is finally coming!!!!!!!!!! This Tuesday!!! 3 MORE DAYS!!! Remember to open legs BIG BIG so we can see your genitals ya? And remember to wave to us again baby!!

Can't-wait-for-Tuesday,
Mummy Jo
